Veterinarian, posture and biomechanical medicine specialist, and lifelong horsewoman, Dr. Raquel Butler helps horse owners and equine professionals uncover the hidden physical issues behind “behavioural” problems.

Her journey began in childhood, but it was her own horses - who bucked, reared, or refused to move - that opened her eyes to how pain and poor posture are so often misunderstood.

Raquel’s search for answers led her beyond conventional veterinary medicine into the world of anatomy, biomechanics, bodywork, and Animal Biomechanical Medicine. Mentored by leading experts like Dr. Ian Bidstrup and Dr. Sharon May-Davis, she now brings a unique, holistic lens to equine care.

Through Integrated Veterinary Therapeutics, Raquel helps horse owners and equine professionals tune into what the horse’s body is saying. This enables you to take action to optimise your horse's functional posture and  enhance their performance, health and well being.
